Shopping Guide for an Hourglass Figure

The woman with an hour glass figure has broad shoulders and full hips.  She is smallest in her middle.  This is the most feminine figure there is and it should be shown off.  Just about every woman lusts after and works very hard to achieve the look of having this figure.  You are lucky enough to have it already. This shopping guide is for the woman who has this kind of a figure or body type, and it will help her to show it off the best way possible.  Take it with you when you go shopping for clothes the next time.

Fitted and tailored clothing are the best option for you when choosing tops and bottoms.  They will help to show off both the top and the bottom a bit while accenting your tiny waist.  Women with an hourglass figure should always wear lighter fabrics like silk and avoid heavier fabrics such as wool or tweed.  The heavier fabrics will add bulk in all the wrong places.

V-necked and strapless tops are the best for your womanly figure.  They help to show off your shoulders and neck as well as to accent your face.  Statement belts are a great option for you and should be worn at the smallest point of your waist.  You already have a balanced top and bottom, so show off your little middle.  A long fitted v-necked sweater with a stunning statement belt is always a good choice for you.  Wear this over a small tank paired with a pair of fitted jeans for a great classy and casual look.

Tailored trousers and fitted skirts in light fabrics are the best bet for covering your bottom half.  I would suggest that you go with fitted jeans as well.  Avoid puffy or layered skirts.  These will just add way to much bulk.  Instead keep it clean when deciding on what to wear on your bottom half.

Shopping Guide for a Boyish Figure

If you have a boyish figure, you may have heard some one tell you something to the effect of you being straight up and down.  This is definitely one way of putting it.  Women with a boyish figure generally have trouble finding clothing that really accentuates any part of their bodies.  This shopping guide will help you select a wardrobe that can add bulk in all the right places that will add some instant proportions to your proportion lacking figure.

Choose tops that are V-necked or low slung with accents such as a diagonal ruffle or shirts having two or more block colors making up the top design.  This will help draw attention to your top half and give an illusion of having a larger top, so to speak, as well as to accentuate your shoulders.

When shopping for a jacket, choose ones that are made out of heavy fabrics such as wool or tweed.  Also shoot for jackets that are fitted.  This will add a bit of bulk and some needed curves to your figure.

The next time you are out shopping for accessories, check out the selection of belts.  Thick, low-slung belts worn with your pants help to add a bit of curve and bulk to your bottom half.  Choosing big statement belts worn this way is a very good idea for you as well because they help to grab attention toward one part of your body.

Those fun ruffled skirts we are all seeing everywhere now days are the perfect pieces to add to your wardrobe.  The ruffles will add the look of having hips and a butt to your boyish figure making it a bit more on the girlish side.

When selecting dresses that you wish to add to the boyish figured girl’s wardrobe, choose tired dresses that will help to add volume to your figure.  Also choose full skirted dresses with belted waist’s to help give an hourglass look which is the ultimate girlish figure.

These amazing tips can help transform your wardrobe into the one that you have sought after all of your life.  Following these simple guidelines when shopping will help you to achieve a successful and sexy wardrobe that will make any girl with a boyish figure look her very best.  The most important thing to remember when shopping for clothes is, of course, to have a blast doing it.  Happy Shopping!

How to Become a Mystery Shopper Review

Mystery shopping may not be the way to become rich, but you can make some extra spending money and it is fun. The concept of how to become a mystery shopper is pretty simple really and we’ll discuss that later, but first let’s take a look at how mystery shopping works.

How Does Mystery Shopping Work?

You are given an assignment to visit a local business, you buy something from them and then fill out a form evaluating their customer service and any other experience you may have had with them.

As a mystery shopper you will visit a variety of local businesses and stores. Sometimes the company will assign you to buy clothes in a particular store, yet others will have you visit the near by coffee shop and rate friendliness of the staff.

You will be paid for trying out different products and services for free. Depending on each company will depend on how you are paid.

You may be paid by receiving the free product or service or you could be paid a flat fee once you have completed the job.

The latter is of course more desirable, however, if you are just getting started, you should get some experience by taking some of the other jobs first. Once you have some experience in mystery shopping, you will also then be assigned to restaurants and hotels.

After you have completed any necessary paperwork about your mystery shopping experience, you can file it electronically or mail in your review. Which ever the company would prefer, and then you are paid either on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.

How to Become a Mystery Shopper?

Find a shopping company you would like to work for, you can locate them online. But be careful and do some detailed research, as many companies who have mystery shopper’s assignments are only frauds.

You should never have to pay to get these jobs. Many claim that if you pay a fee you will receive all the training and opportunities necessary on how to be a mystery shopper. Any tips for improvement skills are offered free to any registered shoppers.

At first, you will have to pay for the product or service before you try it. This might not sound like such a good deal, but they will reimburse you. There is a reason why you are required to pay upfront. The company assigning you to shop will not take the chance that you will get the product for free and then not hand in a review.

Yes, mystery shopping can be rewarding, however, it is very uncommon to rely on it as your only income source. You will not make enough money, but you might be able to pay your hydro or phone bill. Other perks that come with mystery shopping are; free meals, products and services. Mystery shopping can provide extra income for any Wahm looking to make money in their area.

Extra Income: Becoming a Mystery Shopper

Provide a vital service to businesses that are interested in improving their customer service. Mystery shoppers, also called secret shoppers, pose as customers and do secret audits of employees and service, then send a report back to the businesses. Although some mystery shoppers are hired by the businesses themselves, most work as independent contractors for some of the hundreds of mystery shopping companies found around the world. Many of these companies also provide other business services, such as merchandising, demonstrations, surveying, audits, etc.

Although mystery shoppers making ,000 or more have been featured on news magazine shows, most shoppers do not make a lot of money. In fact, when expenses are considered, many shoppers lose money or barely break even. Most mystery shoppers like doing the shops because the jobs are fun and unique, most jobs don’t take long to perform, and most people like being paid to shop. Shops can vary from restaurants and fast food establishments to retail shops and banks, from health clubs, malls, and hotels to golf courses, gas stations and bars. Most companies interested in providing good service to customers hire mystery shoppers to tell them what improvements need to be made.

How does one become a mystery shopper? There are hundreds of companies providing mystery shopping services, and registering with quite a few of these companies is essential to get shopping jobs. Registering should not cost the shopper anything; there are many scams involving mystery shopping jobs, and services that ask for a fee usually give shoppers information that can be found for free. The easiest way to register for jobs is to consult an internet mystery shopping site that provides a list of mystery shopping companies. Volition and Mystery Shoppers Providers Association both maintain sites that have a good selection of companies; the perspective shopper must read the descriptions of what kinds of businesses the companies shop, select those of interest, and click on the links. Each company requires a separate application asking for personal information and usually a writing sample. Applicants can put in zip codes or area codes of locations they want to shop.

Since most secret shop reports are completed online at the mystery shopping companies’ websites, mystery shoppers must have access to the internet. Some jobs require a stopwatch or digital camera, and other jobs have clothing, age, language, or ethnic group restrictions. For instance, for a tobacco compliance audit of a convenience store, the mystery shopper would have to purchase a package of cigarettes and see if the clerk does an age check. For this shop to be effective, the shopper would have to have to appear to be near the age of 18. Some shops also have income requirements, such as those for upscale jewelry shops, investment banking, etc.

Once a mystery shopper is accepted into the data base of a company, he will get an email that will tell him how to register a user name and password at the company’s website. There are various ways for the mystery shopper to get jobs, with receiving an email about an available job and self-selection being the most common methods. Some companies have a “Job Board” that allows a shopper to select the jobs that he wants to perform. Typical job boards list the date or a range of dates the job is to be performed, fee that will be paid, reimbursement for expenses, and a description of what the job entails. Before or after the job is selected, the shopper will be able to download instructions and a copy of the questionnaire that will be filled out after the job is completed. Some companies require a shopper to pass a test based on information in the instructions before selecting jobs. The test is usually for a specific company, and once passed, jobs for that company in many different locations may be selected.

Some mystery shopping companies prefer to inform shoppers of jobs by sending an email with information similar to that on a job board; shoppers then can apply for the job by clicking on a link. If a number of shoppers apply for the same job, a scheduler will decide who gets the job, notify that shopper, and send an email stating that the job has been filled to the other applicants. Other companies prefer to call potential shoppers on the phone to offer jobs, particularly if a shopper has performed satisfactory work for the company previously.

Since mystery shopping reports will be rejected if mistakes are made, being accurate and paying attention to grammar, punctuation, spelling, and other details are important. After the report has been sent in, it will be graded and given a score by the editor; scores typically range from 0-10, and many companies do not offer repeat jobs to those who have scores less than 7. If there are questions about the report, the editor will email the shopper and revisions may have to be made. After a shopper has completed several jobs for a particular company and has good scores on the reports, it should be easier to get additional jobs.

There are many variations as to how promptly mystery shopping companies pay for jobs performed and for reimbursement of expenses. A typical reimbursement is 1-2 months after the job is done; some companies have a payment calendar on their websites. Many of the fees for performing mystery shops are low; fast food jobs usually pay – and many restaurant shops are reimbursement of food costs only. Retail shops pay a little more, -, and usually reimbursement of a purchase, although some shops require a shopper to return the item purchased the next day so additional information can be gathered during the return process. Hundreds of dollars sometimes have to be charged on a shopper’s credit card for shops such as hotel stays and purchasing eyeglasses, but the shopper is always in charge of accepting or declining jobs. Companies typically pay shoppers with checks, through direct deposit into a bank account, or through PayPal. Many now pay only through PayPal and will state that on the application; there’s usually a link for shoppers who do not already have an account.

In short, mystery shopping is fun as a part-time job, but only very dedicated and organized shoppers will be able to make a career of it. Making a living from secret shopping would involve scheduling multiple shops every day and keeping very accurate records for taxes. A disadvantage of mystery shopping is that, as an independent contractor, the shopper is responsible for paying income taxes and also social security taxes on the income at the end of the year; taxes are not deducted from the paychecks, most companies do not even send a tax statement unless the shopper makes over 0, and the IRS tends to consider even the reimbursements as income. Even so, thousands of people enjoy mystery shopping, and good shoppers are always in demand from businesses who want to improve their customer service.

How to Become a Mystery Shopper

People often ask me how to become a mystery shopper since I have been doing it for almost 7 years. Mystery shopping, or “auditing” has been a legimate way to make money from working as an indpendent contractor for years. It is a simple, free process and you can be up and running in no time and it is not too good to be true!

The first thing you should do is set up a new, free, dedicated email address just for mystery shopping. I suggest Gmail simply because I find it to be the easiest and most user friendly.

There are hundreds of mystery shopping and marketing companies and you need to sign up with each one individually. To begin this part of the process find a list of companies that include a link to the companies’ websites. You should NEVER pay for any information. You can find a free comprehensive list of mystery shopping companies along with links here .

Since you need to sign up with each individual company so it would be beneficial to use Google’s auto add or put your information into a Word document or spreadsheet so you can just copy and paste it. Many companies also require short writing samples so it would be a good idea to write a short critique of a recent shopping or dining experience and save this in Word as well and use it for each company that requires it.

Upon signing up with the mystery shopping companies you will begin to receive emails notifying you of jobs in your area. You can apply for these “shops” and if accepted be sure to read all of the directions for your shop and follow all of the shopping companies’ policies when performing it. Remain professional at all times. Pay ranges vary per shop and experience. Some are reimbursement only, some shops, like upscale dining shops, may only reimburse part of the meal so you may have a 0 dinner for out of pocket. You won’t be making millions but once you get the hang of it and work with several companies you can make a decent amount of money.

The following tips helped me to become a successful mystery shopper:

· Be sure to check your dedicated email regularly so you do not miss opportunities to pick up a shop. If you want to make money, you have to be diligent.

· The more mystery shops you perform, the more jobs you will be offered.

· Pay attention to details while performing your mystery shop.

· You do not need a All-in-1 Printer/Fax/Copier/Scanner or digital camera to become a mystery shopper but they are useful tools and will help you get better, higher paying jobs.

· Certification is not a requirement but will help you make more money.

· Don’t flake out on jobs! Schedulers talk to each other and if you miss a deadline with one company, chances are another will hear about it.

· NEVER pay for information on mystery shopping! Everything you need to know you can find for free.

Mystery Shopping: How to Protect Yourself From Scams

If you’re thinking about being a mystery shopper here are two big signs that you’re probably getting scammed.

If the company asks for money upfront then it’s most likely not legit.

If you are required to deposit a check into your bank account then it’s a scam (don’t do it)

To prevent yourself from a mystery shopper nightmare you should…

Research the company-Type the name of the company into any search engine with the word scams on the end of it. (ex. Pup mystery shopping scams) and see what comes up. If you see lots of complaints about the company your searching for then that’s clear evidence that it’s not legitimate  .

Watch out for obvious signs- If you’re researching the company on search engines and nothing comes up then it may not be a real company, either that or the company just isn’t that established in which you should use caution. If the company is making outrageous promises ( ex. Get paid ,000 in just 2 minutes) then somethings not right. One of the biggest signs as I mentioned above, you’re asked to deposit the check into your bank account. If you’re asked to do this don’t, if the mystery shopper company is not legit then that check is not going to be valid and therefor you will suffer the consequences. My mother unfortunately deposited a check that was sent to her by a mystery shopper company and the bank took all of her money out of the bank and her account was monitored after that so be careful.

If you stick to these tips and stay alert you will never fall victim to mystery shopping scams. It’s unfortunate that some people and some companies will go to great lengths to make a quick buck even if it means ripping off good people and if you fall victim to one of these many scams go on the net and blog, tweet, and do whatever you can to inform people of which companies are scams and which ones aren’t and report the company to the police so the right party can be held accountable.Happy hunting and good luck.

Make Money Mystery Shopping

Can you really make money as a mystery shopper?  Yes you can!  Mystery shopping may be an ideal way to make money, work when and where you want to, and get some free merchandise and services.

What is Mystery Shopping?

Mystery shopping is part of the quality control process for companies.  Mystery shoppers pose as regular customers to assigned shops, then report back to the company.  The company provides the mystery shopper with an evaluation form to return after a shop is conducted.  The company may want to find out about the service being provided to their customers or the quality of products customers are purchasing.

A shop may take anywhere from two minutes to over an hour.  The follow-up evaluation can take anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on the shopper and the length of the evaluation form.

How Much Money Can I Make?

Payment for mystery shopping varies greatly.  Payment can range from .00 to over 0.00 per shop.  Companies may combine the reimbursement of a product or service, along with an actual cash payment as the total amount of compensation for your time.  You will always be reimbursed for any purchases you are required to make.

There are plenty of shops that do not require any purchases.  You are only working for the payment amount.  So if you don’t want to spend out-of-pocket money for expenses, you can apply for shops that do not require purchases.  These shops may include viewing apartments, storage facilities, audits in stores, and so forth.

What You Do

Mystery shoppers register with one or more mystery shop companies.  You will need to fill out an application form for each company you register with.  Some companies also require you to take a short test.  They provide you with a narrative and then follow-up with the test.  Once you are registered and accepted, you will be directed to a job board.  The job board describes the available shops, payment for the shops, reimbursement for products or services, location of the shop, and the due date for your report or evaluation.  All companies require you to submit an online evaluation of your visit to the assigned shop.

How to Get Started

The easiest way to start making money as a mystery shopper is to check out the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA) site.  The association provides shoppers with a list of jobs available. When you click on the job you’re interested in, you will be given the details of the job along with the name of the mystery shop company that is conducting that particular shop.  You will then go to the mystery shop company’s web site and register with that company.  You can then begin applying for shops with that company.  Once you’re registered with a particular company, you can go back to their site and apply for a shop whenever you want to.

You can register with as many mystery shopping companies as you’d like.  As a mystery shopper, you’re considered to be an independent contractor.  You decide your own schedule by applying for shops on days and times that you’re available.  You can decide if you want to pursue mystery shopping as a full-time job, a part-time job for extra money, or only when you want an oil change or a free dinner!  As you learn the ropes, you’ll develop confidence and some strategies to help make mystery shopping more enjoyable and lucrative.
